"In my sporting life there are two people who have marked my career. I am referring to coaches Evgheni and Denis. They knew how to instil in me the confidence, which I never imagined I was capable of, that gives me the strength to persevere and constantly motivates me for new achievements. They are the mentors who support me in case failures discourage me or if I am overwhelmed by personal problems. After I lost my father, Evgheni and Denis gave me the parental care that I needed in my childhood years, which is something I will be grateful for throughout my life. They are an irreplaceable part of my sporting achievements. It is thanks to them that I became an athlete." (olympic.md, 08 Jul 2020)
