When and where did you begin this sport?
She began swimming in the fourth grade of school when she joined the BSV Medizin Marzahn club in Berlin, Germany.
Why this sport?
Her mother would often take her to the pool and signed her up for a swimming club. She decided to pursue the sport because she enjoyed it.

RETURN TO GERMANY
In 2016 she relocated to Vienna, Austria, to train with coach Kurt Dittrich. In January 2019 she moved back to Wiesbaden, Germany to prepare for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "The 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo was the reason for me to come back to Wiesbaden. It gives me personal contact with my trainer Oliver Grossmann. He knows me well, and the trust is there."
