Sporting philosophy / motto
"The solitude of an individual sport suits me. It runs fast in my character. I think that was why I went professional. If it didn't fit, I probably would have stopped years ago. I've adjusted my life around the sport, because I'm generally a loner." (athletestories.gr, 14 Jan 2019)

She considered retiring in 2011 after failing to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. "There were times when I thought about giving up. In 2011 I missed out qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. It was a difficult experience in my career. It was either stop competing at the age of 20 or just continue for many years. I decided to continue." (athletestories.gr, 14 Jan 2019)
