She began swimming at age four and started entering competitions at age seven.
Why this sport?
"At first I did swimming because my doctor recommended it. I didn't like it at all and cried every time I had to compete. The butterfly was the worst - it was very tiring. But with time I started enjoying it more and more."

When she was suffering from migraines in 2015 and 2016, neurologists recommended that she should quit elite competition. "I didn't like what they told me, so I asked someone else, and kept looking until I found the solution. But it took me two years. My level dropped so much because I couldn't train.
