NEW CLUB AND COACH
In 2020 she changed club from CN Galaico in Pontevedra, Spain, to CN Santa Olaya in Gijon, Spain. At Santa Olaya she rejoined former coach Pepin Rivera, who previously worked with her for three years. "Considering the pros and cons, Santa Olaya was the best option. The training group is good, as are the facilities there. Coach Rivera knows me and I know how he works. Returning to him is not like starting from scratch." (diariodepontevedra.es, 05 Sep 2020, 12 Mar 2020)

HARD TIMES
When she was suffering from migraines in 2015 and 2016, neurologists recommended to her that she quit elite competition. "I didn't like what they told me, so I asked someone else, and kept looking until I found the solution. But it took me two years. My level dropped so much because I couldn't train. I missed giving my all, being able to compete at the highest level, being part of a team, and going to international competitions." (diariodepontevedra.es, 12 Mar 2020)
