Other information
PSYCHOLOGIST
After a disappointing performance at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, she began working with renown French sports psychologist, Myriam Selmi. "I was inside a hole. I wanted to quit swimming after the Games. I have lost the joy of competition." She wanted to give her career a new push, as she struggled to deal with the death of former teammate Camille Muffat. "I was incapable of talking about her without crying. I wouldn't say I was depressed, because some people live far harder things, but I experienced some depressing phases. I lived though, obscure moments. Thanks to Myriam I could get rid of certain things." In mid-2018 she claimed three gold and one bronze medals at the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. "In Glasgow I talked to her three times. It is a common trend forgetting how important mental and psychological aspects are for the athletes. All athletes should be followed [by a sports psychologist]. It saved my life. I would never had been European champion without Myriam." (lepoint.fr, 02 Oct 2018)

TAEKWONDO
In 2017 she incorporated taekwondo into her training routine. "It was an idea of my coach [Fabrice Pellerin] because I once told him I wanted to break my routine. It has gone good. My coach is [former world champion] Mikael Meloul. It's very hard but I learn a lot. It allows me to develop my aggressiveness, something practically nonexistent in swimming. That has helped me to look my rivals in their eyes. I learn also to receive blows and I work with other muscles. Taekwondo is a dry sport and it is hyper though for us swimmers." (lepoint.fr, 02 Oct 2018)

MUFFAT HEARTACHE
She was a close friend of French swimmer Camille Muffat who died in a helicopter crash while participating in a reality television show in March 2015. "Every day I swim in a place where we trained together. It is complicated to continue to come here every day, in the same locker room where we shared the same place, the same bench, to see pictures of her all over the pool. On the other hand, it reminds me of good memories we had like the gold medals we shared." (non-stop-people.com, 03 Aug 2015)

OTHER ACTIVITIES
In 2017, she was named an ambassador for sport in the Alpes-Maritimes department of France. She has also been part of the French gendarmerie's athlete division since 2014. She has also been named the image of an organisation against breast cancer in France. (departement06.fr, 09 Feb 2017; Centre National des Sports de la Defense's YouTube channel, 01 Jun 2018; lepoint.fr, 02 Oct 2018)
