She took up the sport at age seven.
Why this sport?
She was enrolled in swimming lessons at CN Sabadell as she struggled to swim in the sea. Later, her sports teacher encouraged her to try water polo after finding out she was left-handed.

She was part of the Spanish national team that received an award from the Spanish Sports Press Association [AEPD] in recognition of their triumph at the 2020 European Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
