DIFFICULT CHOICES At age 15 she left Rimouski, QC, Canada, to live with her aunt in Quebec City. She made the switch to further her training and prioritise sport over her education. "I went to [education provider] CEGEP in more years than normal because I was in a sports-study programme. I also left my university studies. I haven't been able to start them full-time yet. I have had to make a lot of choices over the years which have not always been easy and my selection for the [2020] Olympic team proves that I made the right choices."
