Her parents first took her to the pool at age two. She began synchronised swimming at age six.

Former Spanish national champion Esperanza Pintado saw her and told her to join a synchronised swimming team.

RETIREMENT
Her shoulder problems, which required three operations, led her to retire from the sport after the 2016 European Championships in London, England. "The last few months were extremely hard.
