She teamed up with Monica Arango Estrada in 2012, with the goal of qualifying for the Olympic Games. "Monica and I complement each other, she is very good with her legs. That's why we have such a good rapport on the setup and during training. She is also a dedicated student and athlete. Our personalities are different as well, she's a lot more outgoing than me and I reckon that helps our performance as well. I really appreciate her enthusiasm during the hard times."
