She has combined swimming with open water swimming throughout her career. Since 2010, her open water swimming results have taken her into the Brazilian national team but for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo she wanted to qualify in the pool. "The ambitions are high. I want to focus on the pool and to win the Olympic berth. I want to accomplish more with the national team and always to improve my level.
