BREAK
In 2020 he announced he was taking a break from swimming. "I have been swimming since I was four years old, and until now I have been doing it competitively. I haven't stopped, I am just taking a break. I swam without rest for 21 or 22 years, and I felt it was worth seeing and trying out what everyday life is like. I don't think it's worth getting to the level as an athlete where you hate the water. I would say I was a little tired of the situation, the circumstances were more of a collusion with my mental, physical and mental state, but I still enjoy swimming and keeping fit."
