SUSPENSION In September 2016 he was banned from the national team for four months by USA Swimming and the United States Olympic Committee [USOC] for breaching both organisations' code of conduct at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He and his teammates Jimmy Feigen, Ryan Lochte, and Jack Conger were involved in an incident at a petrol station in the city during a night out.
