Why this sport?
"My brother used to play water polo at the Centre Natacio Mataro club. My sister Estel and I went alongside our father to his training. The artistic swimming team were training at the same facilities and it drew my father's attention, who decided to sign us up. This sport has given me a lot of joy and has also made me cry. There have been competitions in which I gave everything and others that have been a disaster. I've learnt these emotions come along together in the sport. Both complement each other and allow us to become stronger and to grow as athletes."

REPLACING HER IDOL
In 2016 she teamed up with Pau Ribas in the mixed duet competition, replacing her idol and fellow Spanish artistic swimmer Gemma Mengual. "Being Gemma's replacement was an honour and also a pressure. She is a legend in synchronised swimming. It was a spectacular challenge and it was very cool. I felt a responsibility because they took a chance with me to replace a legend like Gemma, but I really wanted to show that I could do the same as her."
