RETIREMENT
In December 2019 she announced her retirement from competitive artistic swimming via social media. "I want to tell everyone that I have decided to change my projects and goals, leaving high performance sports aside. This decision was motivated by the fact that I was informed that I would not be part of the Spanish Olympic synchronised swimming team in Tokyo 2020. Therefore, after so many years focused on achieving that goal, my presence in the High Performance Centre [CAR] of Sant Cugat stopped making sense. It has been a difficult decision to make, but I consider that it is the best one for my future since unfortunately, making a living from sport is very complicated and joining the working life is an inevitable reality.
