TO MONTENEGRO AND BACK In 2012 he went to Montenegro with a view to representing the Montenegrin national team. Then-Montenegrin head coach Ranko Perovic thought he had the potential to make the squad, but insisted he would have to play club water polo locally. The player agreed and joined VK Budva, and was soon on the national team. However, in 2013 he moved to AN Brescia in Italy and decided to end his involvement with the Montenegrin national team.
