TO MONTENEGRO AND BACK
In 2012 he went to Montenegro with a view to representing the Montenegrin national team. Then-Montenegrin head coach Ranko Perovic thought he had the potential to make the squad, but insisted he would have to play club water polo locally. The player agreed and joined VK Budva, and was soon on the national team. However, in 2013 he moved to AN Brescia in Italy and decided to end his involvement with the Montenegrin national team. In 2015 he returned to the French national team. (Facebook page, 31 Mar 2016; waterpoloworld.com, 25 Jan 2016; waterpoloworld.com, 26 Jun 2014)
