Why this sport? |
Her mother and grandmother enrolled her in the sport. "The coaches did not want to take me into the group, they said I was too young. But then they saw that I had potential and allowed me to join. For the first six months I was floundering on my own, and then I started working with coaches. Later I was invited to take up athletics, and until the 10th grade I was involved in school competitions, as well as cross-country skiing. I also danced and tried to keep up with everything, but eventually I decided to focus on swimming." |
