COACHING CHANGES In October 2019 he moved to Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy, to train under the guidance of coach Shane Tusup. He returned to training in Brzesko, Poland, during the COVID-19 pandemic to reunite with coach Marcin Kacer. "Choosing to work with Tulup, I wanted to have someone to race and compete with. In Brzesko I did not have sparring partners or anyone who could help me train at the appropriate level. So I thought that if I moved elsewhere and had someone to compete with, I would get better. It turned out that it doesn't quite work that way. At the new base, my training was not adapted to my races, so it did not work out for me and that's it. After I left BOSiR Brzesko, both the coach Marcin Kacer and the director Marek Dadej wanted me to return to the club and make it easier for me. Without them, all the preparations would have been harder." (glos24.pl, 16 May 2021; temi.pl, 25 Jan 2021)
SWIMMING SCHOOL In 2016 he set up the Wojdak & Balabuch Swimming School in Brzesko, Poland, together with fellow Polish swimmer Krystian Balabuch. (fithero.pl, 03 Jul 2018; wojciechwojdak.com, 01 Aug 2017) |

Training Regime |
"We train in the water for a total of four hours, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. We have an hour outside the pool, either for jogging combined with exercises with balls or other equipment, or for general development exercises. In the latter, we introduced MMA training. We wanted there to be something else during the preparations, so there wasn't just swimming all the time, but also a kind of springboard so we could relax and focus on something else." |
