FURTHER EDUCATION In 2021 he began studying for a degree in psychology at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary. "I plan to play water polo until I am 34 or 35 years old and when Brisbane hosts the Olympics in 2032, I will be 35. I will have so much experience behind me that with this professional background, I could also help a lot with young athletes. The positive surprise in the whole thing is that I enjoy learning this, it's very interesting." (eurosport.hu, 27 Dec 2021)
PLAYING STYLE He started focusing on the defensive side of his game when coach Daniel Varga began training the Orvosegyetem SC club in 2020. "My game has been based on attacking since I was a kid, it was never a secret. I was raised for that too, it comes clearly based on my position. With a child's mind, at the age of 13 or 14, I couldn't imagine what else could provide such enjoyment as scoring goals. This changed with the arrival of Dani Varga. While he didn't have an exact sentencing, I thought I should pay more attention in defence or to practise separately because there's room for improvement in that. It seemed self-evident to me to pay attention to it, and I began to pay more attention to it." (eurosport.hu, 27 Dec 2021) |
