DIVING WITH DALEY
In 2018 he teamed up with British diver Thomas Daley for synchronised events. Daley has long been one of Lee's sporting heroes. "When I was younger, I was literally a fan of Tom - everyone was. He was so young and so good, winning world championships at 15, so I've looked up to him for ages. I have memories of watching him at London [2012] and Rio [2016]. At London, unfortunately we didn't get tickets, but I was at a friend's house who lived on my street, and I remember it all. It was pretty special to see the crowd. To know he's now my synchro partner is weird. There's a photo of me and him the first time we met, and I'm just a little kid. I have known Tom for years now and he is a really good friend. I don't look at him like a celebrity, but it's special being paired with him and it will help me out with my career as well. He doesn't coach me, but he always gives me little coaching comments that I don't mind. He also says that he learns from me as well still, it's weird to think that but it's a compliment really."
