Sport Specific Information
Why this sport?
She was encouraged to learn how to swim by her mother. "She said that we lived on an island so it only made sense. I really enjoyed swimming, so I joined my first swim club and I've just stuck with it. [I liked] being care-free, the camaraderie of the sport and seeing I've done a personal best on the scoreboard."
When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up the sport at age five. She began competing at age nine in Bristol, England.
