Why this sport?
She was forced to choose between pool and open water swimming once the competitions in both disciplines began to overlap. "I chose open water swimming because I had more fun. It is a different sport in which there are many things that are beyond my control, such as water temperature, animals and being hit. All that uncertainty made me decide for open water."
