"I had problems with my back, and the doctor said that I must swim. Either I did it or I would have bad posture. So I began swimming. After a while my coach suggested I switch to artistic swimming because I had the attributes of being tall and slim."

At the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, she was part of the Ukrainian team that won gold in the women's highlight routine, which was the first time the event had featured at the world championships, and was Ukraine's first ever gold medal in artistic swimming at a world championships.
