COLLEGE EXPERIENCE
Between 2016 and 2020 she studied at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, United States of America. She says this was a pivotal period in her swimming career. "Each year at Tennessee I had I grew into a better athlete and a better teammate. I don't think I ever would have even gotten to the level I am without collegiate swimming. It really challenges you in so many more ways than just swimming as a club swimmer. GRADUATION SPECIAL
When she graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2020 she did not have a traditional graduation ceremony due to COVID-19-related restrictions. She did, however, appear in YouTube's 'Dear Class of 2020' graduation special in June 2020 alongside celebrities such as Barack Obama, Beyonce and Bill Gates. "I thought it was a joke. It was just such a neat opportunity I didn't think it was possible, but it was real, and I was just super honoured to be able to be a part of something.
