Why this sport? |
She followed her older brothers into the sport. She was later inspired to focus on swimming after watching Japanese swimmer Kosuke Kitajima win two gold medals at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. "Because all my brothers were swimming, I naturally took part in a swimming class. I don't have any memory that I wanted to do it, but I think that I enjoyed the feeling of touching water for the first time." |
