SANCTION In 2019 she was suspended for one year after she returned an adverse analytical finding for the prohibited substance furosemide in an out-of-competition test carried out by the Brazilian Doping Control Authority [ABCD] in June 2019. She was informed while competing at the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, Republic of Korea. She was removed from the Brazilian team at the world championships as well as for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
