FRONT LINE
She worked part-time as a volunteer nursing assistant at the University of Los Andes Clinic in Santiago, Chile, during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. "I'm there as a nursing technician so I'm focused on checking vital signs, changing bed clothing, and washing patients. What has shocked me the most is seeing people in a very bad state, all alone because no one could visit them, so I had to be a little bit happier in order to cheer them up. The shifts are also very long and I am very tired when I finish. It's very busy, but there has been a lot of comradeship." (deportes.uc.cl, 01 Sep 2020; farodeportivo.cl, 15 Jun 2020)
