NERVES FADING In early 2020 he said that he has gradually become less anxious about travelling to compete internationally. "I used to get nervous about travelling to new places, however, after experiencing several new places the nerves faded. It is always reassuring to know that you have your teammates or coaches with you if anything should happen. I can honestly say that for most of the trips I have been on, it is the team spirit which has made them memorable. Everyone helps each other, and despite being hard work, they are such fun. To ensure that I stay healthy whilst travelling, I use nasal spray before flights to try and eliminate some of the bugs you may pick up on the plane." (proswimwear.co.uk, 23 Jan 2020)
NEW CLUB In 2020 he began training at National Centre Bath in England under coach Jol Finck. "I'm excited by the move. For the next four years I will be able to make senior [national] teams and hopefully the next two Olympics, now that they will be just three years apart." (street.nub.news, 22 Jun 2020) |
