Sport Specific Information
Why this sport?
"I fell in love with water polo when I was age six and watched my older sister's high school games. She was a goalie, so I wanted to be just like her. The specific moment I knew I wanted to make the Olympic roster occurred during one of my middle school tournaments. After one game, my coach told me that I could be an Olympian if I showed enough determination. It's amazing what mentors can do for a young player's goals. From that moment on I committed myself to working each day to represent the United States of America at the Olympics."
