He first tried the sport at age five, and at age nine he began training at a sport school in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Four years later, he started trial training with the People's Liberation Army [Navy] swimming team, and in 2014, at age 15, he became a member of the People's Liberation Army [Navy] swimming team. |
