STUDYING IN THE UNITED STATES
In 2019 he moved to the United States of America to study at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. "The objective is to be able to combine swimming at the highest level with studies at one of the best universities in the world, so I hope to get a university degree at a prestigious university, in addition to continuing to improve as a swimmer, as an athlete and as a person." In 2020 he started working on an engineering team responsible for the design, optimisation, and manufacturing of powertrain for Northwestern Formula Racing. His team competes in Formula SAE [FSAE], an intercollegiate engineering design competition organised by the Society of Automotive Engineers [SAE], where student teams design, build, and race formula-style cars.
