DISTANCE PREFERENCE He specialises in 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle but prefers the shortest distance. "The 400m is a tactical distance, where a lot is decided when you make the last dash, switch up a pace, and step up your footwork. You have to think at every metre of the distance.
