 RETIREMENT AND RETURN

WU WINS
He upset Michael Phelps to win the 200m butterfly at the Michigan Grand Prix in April 2011. Wu's victory marked the first defeat in the event for Phelps since 2002. (france24.com, 15 May 2011)

EARLY DAYS
