PARTNERSHIP She began competing in synchronised 3m springboard with Laura Sanchez in 2018. Chavez relocated to Leon, Mexico, where she started training with Sanchez's coach, Francisco Rueda. "We had already teamed up but then we didn't have the chance to be together anymore as we were in different teams. Now we share almost everything, the same coach, and we train together every day, which is very helpful in terms of a better synchronisation."
