 RETIREMENT
He retired from competitive open water swimming in 2018. "From the beginning, I never wanted to miss a single championships. I've always wanted to train our children at home and not just to walk around or look for a pool to exercise. That dream did not come true during the years I swam for Olympiakos but I hope that my teammates will live it as soon as possible. There is a very strong pitch in distances, behind me, in Olympiakos.
