RETIREMENT In July 2016 she announced that she would not compete at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro as she had not trained for half a year due to serious wrist injuries that she had suffered for several years. "I do not exclude a possibility that one day I will come back to synchronised swimming. I need rest from sport now - I want to recover, and try living a normal life, start my own business," she said. TV AND ACTING CLASSES In October 2013 she announced she had taken a pause in her sports career caused by the recovery period after her wrist injuries and entered Ostankino Television School where she has studied at the "TV and radio news presenter" faculty.
