PARTNERSHIP She believes her partnership with Evangelia Papazoglou is stronger than when the pair finished 10th at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. "We are completely different kinds of athletes, with completely different legs and ways of moving so we had to figure it out at first. It took some time but, for sure, we are much better than before and much better than in Rio. Our collaboration as a duet emerged from a coaching decision, but we were teammates from a very young age and we also collaborated as a team long before we became a duet." In 2021 she spoke about how they support each other. "When one sees the other has 'fallen', she always tries to lift her by telling her something encouraging. For example, how we reach our goal, but also how big and important this goal is. In general, we support and draw strength from each other, whether we are in competitions or in training." (onsports.gr, 19 Sep 2020; metrosport.gr, 06 Jun 2020; insidesynchro.org, 29 Mar 2020; e-nafpaktia.gr, 13 May 2021)

She competed in the preliminary stages of the duet competition with her partner Evanagelia Papazoglou before the pair were then forced to withdraw. (newsit.gr, 12 Aug 2021; kathimerini.gr, 03 Aug 2021; npr.org, 03 Aug 2021)
She missed the 2018 World Series event in Syros, Greece, due to appendicitis. (fina.org, 16 Jun 2018) |
